CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Geri Dillingham, EVP-Member Relations for North Island Financial CU has received a "Women Who Mean Business 2003″ award from the San Diego Business Journal. The award recognizes women who have had significant impact in the business community over the past year. Dillingham was one of 25 recipients of the award from a field of 100 finalists. At the Oct. 10 award ceremony, Dillingham was recognized for spearheading NIFCU's successful "Island" branding campaign which resulted in the credit union exceeding its goals and allowed NIFCU to significantly add new members, branches and services. Dillingham has been with NIFCU for 15 years. During that time her contribution to a workplace structure and culture have been recognized four times with the prestigious Eureka Award for Performance Excellence.
