SACRAMENTO, Calif.- Pedro Reyes, deputy policy director for California State Assembly Speaker Herb J. Wesson, Jr. has recently been appointed to The Golden 1 Credit Union board of directors. Prior to his current position, he worked for 11 years at the California Department of Finance specializing in fiscal and policy analysis. According to The Golden 1 CU President/CEO Teresa Halleck, Reyes' experience in fiscal analysis and policy development and implementation will be a valuable addition to the credit union's board of directors. Reyes replaces Peter Grassi, who has been elevated to Director Emeritus after 27 years of dedicated service to the credit union. "Peter Grassi's contributions to the credit union during its evolution and growth have been immeasurable," said Halleck. "We thank him for his loyal support of The Golden 1 and his contributions toward its success."
