TULSA, Okla. – In a proactive move taken to “help secure a strong future for the League,” the Oklahoma Credit Union League Board of Directors approved a succession plan naming Lisa Finley as executive vice president and successor to League President/CEO Bob Bianchini. Bianchini has been League president since 1994 and has announced his plans to retire in 2005. Finley has been with the League since 1998. She was hired at the beginning of the H.R. 1151 legislative battle to head up OCUL's communications and governmental affairs department. Since then she has served as SVP and Chief Operating Officer, supervising governmental affairs, communications, administration, the Credit Union Development Division, and the League Services Corp. In addition to these responsibilities, Finley will also oversee the management of all other areas of the League operations, including the financial and human resources departments. Michael Kloiber, president/CEO, Tinker FCU, Oklahoma City, and League chairman said the succession plan “will give Bob the opportunity to work with Lisa and prepare her for taking the reigns of the organization.”
