MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – Liberty Enterprises and credit union education specialist MyDAS Marketing are now offering an online fraud education training program. The module, which includes testing and certification for those who complete the course, will help train CU employees to better answer questions about fraud from members. "Consumers – credit union members – are now more educated about issues such as fraud. This (fraud education module) helps narrow the knowledge gap and gives the credit union employee an opportunity to be as knowledgeable as the member," said Product Manager Cheryl Dahl. The new module is offered as part of MyDAS' fee-based, self-guided education modules for credit union staff members through Credit Union University, a program of Nevada-based MyDAS. It joins others anti-fraud tools from Liberty that include check fraud protection programs and specially designed checks.
