Section 705 Federal Credit Union, Lafayette, La., longtime Chairman Emeritus Clarence B. Baldridge, Jr. has died at the age of 69. Baldridge, who retired from the credit union board in March, served on the credit union's board for 30 years; 29 of those as chairman. A retired postmaster at the Abbeville branch of the United States Post Office, Baldridge was also a retired board member and past president of the Lafayette Parish School Board. He is survived by his wife, Coletta Grande Baldridge, two daughters, three sons and 12 grandchildren.
