BOISE, Idaho – Database Management Services, Inc. has released a Spanish version of its HomeCU Internet banking software. Currently 200 credit unions, at an average size of $30 million, are on the HomeCU product. The Spanish version will be free for any HomeCU credit union client that chooses to activate it. It includes Spanish menus, instructions, alerts, and all other text related to home banking. Credit unions can also choose to add their own multi-lingual marketing messages and member surveys. Members can access the Spanish features by clicking a button on their credit union's Web sites and then entering their user names and passwords. "Hispanics are now the largest minority in the country, and credit unions are really looking for ways to reach that market," said DMS Vice President Jan Brinkerhoff.
