Washington Credit Union League, has recognized four individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the credit union movement over the years. Robert Harvey, president/CEO of Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union was named Credit Union Professional of the Year; Carol Schillios is the first-ever recipient of the league Ambassador Award, which honors those who have made significant contributions in promoting the credit union movement locally, nationally or internationally for more than 10 years. Bruce Landre, chairman of the board of directors for the Snohomish County P.U.D. was recognized as the league's outstanding credit union volunteer for his 26-year commitment to helping the movement. For his advocacy work, Roger Nedrow received the league's Mark of Excellence award.
