WASHINGTON – Which businesses do consumers trust more? TheConsumer Federation of America and the National CooperativeBusiness Association will release the findings of a new study onOct. 1 about consumers' attitudes towards the businesses they dealwith. Among the information expected to be released is howconsumers feel about the business practices of cooperatives andinvestor-owned corporations; how attitudes affect consumerpreferences for different types of business; how cooperatives andtraditional corporations rate in areas such as service, quality ofproducts, and trustworthiness; and the corporate businessstructures consumers find most trustworthy. The CFA and NCBA alsowill announce a month-long national campaign to educate consumersabout the cooperative alternative.
