It's no secret that millions of American consumers are discovering the value of becoming a member of a credit union. Not nearly as evident, vendors who provide products and services to the financial services industry are discovering that credit unions have become a huge potential source for increased sales. As proof, just this year alone, Credit Union Times has seen its ranks of display advertisers swell by 33 new firms seeking to do business with credit unions. Although most of these companies have been in business for many years, the 33 new advertisers represent suppliers who either didn't know much about credit unions, or at the very least, did not know how important sales to the CU industry could be to their bottom line. These new advertisers are important from our readers' perspective because they give credit unions even more choices when they peruse the pages of Credit Union Times before making purchasing decisions. And even more important than that, credit union members benefit because they are the ultimate beneficiaries of a credit union that gets to consider and eventually choose from a list that now numbers approximately 150 advertisers that appear regularly in the pages of this publication. Just as the credit union industry is becoming less of a secret to a growing number of top-notch suppliers, it is also no secret that Credit Union Times presents new and existing CU vendors the most cost effective and graphically pleasing way to reach credit unions.
