DALLAS – Four more Texas credit unions have sold their card portfolios to TNB Card Services, the card management arm of Dallas-based Town North Bank, a credit union owned bank. The $83 million Laredo Federal Credit Union serves the residents of Webb County, Texas, and sold 2,000 card accounts to TNB. The $49 million Arlington Federal Credit Union serves the communities of Arlington and Mansfield, Texas and sold 900 accounts. The $130 million El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union sold 2,500 accounts. The $15 million LeTourneau Federal Credit Union is located in Longview, Texas, and sold 200 accounts. All the credit unions entered into agent relationships with TNB as part of their sales. "We chose TNB because of their affinity to credit unions. There was just a little more trust there. They were the best choice to keep our portfolio in the credit union family," said John Hale, CEO of Laredo FCU.
