VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – USERS Inc. has signed an agreement with Alex Sheshunoff Management Services (ASM) to integrate ASM's Platinum Overdraft solution with USERS' core processing and courtesy pay systems. Platinum Overdraft is a turnkey program for fair, consistent and profitable overdraft management, combining consulting services with a technology tool that manages member communication, the companies said. It helps credit unions with both front-end risk management (e.g., establishing appropriate overdraft criteria and limits for each member) and back-end risk management (e.g., determining the type and frequency of communication to members who are overdrawn, based on their specific risk profiles). The companies said Platinum Overdraft will be a strong complement to USERS' Courtesy Pay Manager software. The Fiserv unit said it now has 10 clients live or in the process of implementing that solution as a standalone. During the fourth quarter, $400 million AltaOne Federal Credit Union in Ridgecrest, Calif., will become the first USERS' client live with ASM's Platinum Overdraft integrated with the Courtesy Pay software.
