SUPERIOR, Wis. – Superior Community Credit Union has celebrated the grand opening of its newly remodeled lobby. Designed by Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based architectural firm HTG Architects, the lobby incorporates a new teller line and reception area that plays up a "four seasons" theme. Features such as such as fiber optics lighting simulating rippling water at the teller line and glass block at the reception desk representing cold and ice were used to enhance the space. New carpet and wall coverings are offset by murals on much of the wall space commissioned through a local artist. "The new retail space gives a fresh look to the credit union's lobby, greeting members as they enter and sending them off with an image that sticks with them long after they leave the facility," said Architect Jeff Pflipsen. "Staff and members alike can feel proud of their northern environment, celebrating the seasons while conducting the business of the credit union."
