NEW YORK – NCUA Board Chairman Dennis Dollar will address the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions’ second annual Financial Literacy Day in New York City. The event, which will be held at the $229,000 St. Marks FCU in Harlem, will celebrate the Federation’s Each One, Teach One program. Each One, Teach One uses a financial education curriculum developed by the National Endowment for Financial Education. Barbara Kent, Deputy Superintendent of Banks of New York State, will also be a featured speaker. The Federation will also formally sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Internal Revenue Service at the event. The Memo will cover the promotions of the use of Earned Income Tax Credits as a valuable financial resource for low-wage workers.
