CORVALLIS, Ore. – Credit union data processor Summit Information Systems, a Fiserv subsidiary, has signed the $950 million AEDC Federal Credit Union, as a client. AEDC will be using Summit Information System’s Spectrum HP-UX-based core processing platform. The credit union cited Summit’s ability to help the CU go `paperless’, as well as the backing of Fiserv as reasons for choosing the processor. “We are especially excited about the Pathways middleware product that we will be using for future integration projects,” said AEDC President Jimmie Bearden. “With our recently expanded call center, the Pathways product opens the door to endless possibilities for integration of third party products. Member contact management will be one of our first post-conversion projects to potentially utilize Pathways.”
