WASHINGTON-The House Financial Services Committee has scheduled a hearing this month on the progress of corporate governance reforms made last year, Chairman Mike Oxley (R-Ohio) recently announced. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman William H. Donaldson and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Chairman William J. McDonough are scheduled to testify Sept. 17 on the implementation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and advancements made by the accounting oversight board.
