The Credit Union Times Web site just got more visitor friendly. And more functionality improvements are on the way. Every news item that appears on our Web site now carries an e-mail address at the bottom. This not only tells site visitors who wrote the story, but more important, makes it as simple as one click to contact that editorial person for whatever reason. This is only one of many unique features of the Credit Union Times Web page. Only this publication shows the time each news story was filed, adds news items throughout the day as the news happens, features a completely uncluttered (no banner ads, sales promotions, etc.) format, and limits the length of news stories by providing the details in follow-up stories in the printed issue of the next Credit Union Times. The functionality changes soon to be added won’t be as obvious, but visitors will know they are there. Behind-the-scenes changes will make the Credit Union Times Web site even easier and faster to use, and perform a number of functions for visitors without them having to lift a mouse. Not only that, but fast-breaking news stories will be added directly from any remote location at any time of the day or night. Also watch for improvements in our interactive net poll, a concept pioneered by Credit Union Times. It will continue to showcase important questions on a regular basis, provide timely print feedback, and feature immediate voting updates including a running total of total votes cast.
