ATLANTA – SecureWorks, an Internet security firm whose clients include a number of credit unions, is a 2003 winner of the CIO 100 awards from Chief Information Officer magazine. SecureWorks was recognized along with such firms as Dell, FedEx and General Electric for "demonstrating resourceful use of technology and related assets in a tough economic client," the magazine said. Complete coverage of the 2003 CIO 100 is featured in the Aug. 15 issue of CIO magazine and at www.cio.com. The magazine specifically cited SecureWorks, which has about 70 employees and 2002 revenues of $7.5 million, with saving almost $500,000 configuring new systems by phone.
