PASADENA, Calif. – One of the nation’s biggest credit unions has turned to an even bigger CU for help in converting its core processing platform. Ent Federal Credit Union, based in Colorado Springs with $1.6 billion in assets and about 160,000 members, is converting to the Symitar platform next year and it has selected WRG Software, a newly formed arm of Wescom Resources Group, to assist. Wescom Resources Group itself is part of $2.3 billion Pasadena-based Wescom Credit Union. Ent FCU will use WRG Software modules to integrate a number of applications, including member-directed ACH, member-select PIN and other log-on and sign-on solutions, Skip-A-Pay and check imaging. “Our relationship with Wescom Resources Group began 18 months ago when we first purchased an eStatement module. It’s a natural progression for us to continue with Wescom Resources Group,” said Randy Bernstein, COO and executive vice president for ENT FCU. Wescom Resources Group also offers item processing, service bureau, disaster recovery and other services to the credit union industry.
