ATLANTA – Credit Union Service Centers, the shared branching network based in Atlanta, has added two new credit unions to its list. The $138 million Marriott Employees FCU, based in Bethesda, Maryland, and the $320 million Dupaco Community Credit Union, based in Dubuque, Iowa, have linked up to the network which has relationships with many of the nation’s league based shared branching networks. “We have roughly 64% of our membership outside of our home office in Maryland,” says Joyce Parker, senior vice president of operations, for Marriott Employees’ FCU. “From our research, this is a delivery channel that fits our membership to a tee. We expect the 1,100 plus branches nationwide to help us foster a stronger relationship with members no matter which state they live or work in.” The Marriott Employees addition gives CUSC an institution in the Washington, D.C. area, which has a significant presence from the Michigan based Service Centers Corporation, the granddaddy of shared branching networks owned by CO-OP Network owned in Ontario, California.
