WEBSTER, N.Y. – One person was killed and another was shot in the shoulder the morning of Aug. 12 in an apparent robbery of the Webster, N.Y. branch of El Segundo, Calif.-based Xerox FCU. According to the Associated Press, Webster Police Chief Gerald Pickering said it appeared to have been a robbery that went bad. Authorities didn't say whether the victims were members or employees of the credit union. As of midday, more than two hours after the shooting, no arrests had been made. The shooter was identified as a male, and initial reports said he "may have been wearing a homemade FBI jacket." The Webster, N.Y. branch of Xerox FCU is located 12 miles east of Rochester.
