MCAS Beaufort Federal Credit Union, Beaufort, S.C. has recently sponsored two blood drives. When asked by the Lowcountry Community Blood Center to host the mobile unit at two of their branches the credit union signed up for the first available time slot. During two days employees and members kept the blood technicians busy. Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union, Harrisburg, has sponsored the First Annual K-9 Trial Awards. PSECU recently presented five awards to Pennsylvania K-9s and K-9 teams. PSECU presented 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place awards for Drug Detection, Aggression Work, Sit and Hold, Cross Country and Obedience. The First Annual K-9 Trials event was part of the 90th Annual Education and Training Conference held by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association. The K-9 Trials were open to all law enforcement K-9 teams in Pennsylvania. Credit Union West, Phoenix Ariz., employees have donated their time and muscle to Habitat for Humanity. Over 20 Credit Union West members and employees met at the El Mirage construction site at 6 AM to install insulation and paint.
