MADISON, Wis.-CUES and the California Credit Union League, have joined forces to provide two new executive education offerings -The Manchester Summit and the Advanced Leadership Institute at Harvard Business School. The Manchester Summit, to be held October 31 – November 1, 2003, at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida, was designed by and for credit union CEOs of billion-dollar institutions to discuss their strategic challenges. Featured presenters include Ed Callahan, former CEO of the billion-dollar Patelco Credit Union and founder of Callahan & Associates, a credit union strategy consulting firm; and Paul Schoemaker, Ph.D., founder, chairman and CEO of Decision Strategies International, Inc., a consulting and training company specializing in strategic planning, executive development and multi-media software. The Advanced Leadership Institute, which will be held in the fall of 2004 at the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been designed to help participants examine and reframe their organizations, and develop a strategic outlook to improve the effectiveness of their credit union.
