State Center Credit Union, Fresno, Calif., has recently opened a new Clovis branch. The full-service, state-of-the-art facility has been designed to offer members more convenience. Harborstone Credit Union, Tacoma, Wash., has broken ground on a new financial service center. The 5,120 square-foot building is scheduled to open in November and three drive-up lanes, one drive-up ATM and a walk-up ATM are part of the building plans. PARDA Federal Credit Union, Rochester, Mich., has recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Corporate Center in Auburn Hills. During an open house wine and hors d’ oeurves were served, tours of the facility were provided and gifts were distributed to each of the more than 125 visitors in attendance. Eastman Credit Union, Kingsport, Tenn., has hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its new state-of-the-art branch and operations center on MeadowView Parkway. The branch will be a full-service financial institution featuring member services, consumer lending and mortgage lending areas. It will also include a night depository, drive-through tellers, ATMs and safe deposit boxes. Aurora Catholic Federal Credit Union, Colo., has relocated its headquarters and main branch to a new 3,000 square-foot facility on South Peoria Street. A full-service facility, the new branch provides drive-through access and employs seven tellers and financial specialists. Unity One Federal Credit Union, Fort Worth, Texas, has awarded design/build firm New Ground Resources and TGS Architects a multi-branch project. The firms will not only design and build two new branch locations in the Fort Worth area but also redesign and re-brand Unity One FCU’s three existing facilities. Construction of the new credit union facilities will be completed in 2004. Fairfax County Federal Credit Union, Va., has opened the doors to its new headquarters. The new state-of-the-art facility has a spacious front lobby that will facilitate future expansion of services, and room for more on-site staff to better serve members. In addition the facility offers ample parking, two drive-thru teller windows, a drive-up ATM and a walk-up ATM. USAlliance Federal Credit Union, Rye, N.Y., has celebrated the grand opening of its new full-service branch at ISO in Jersey City, N. J. Present at the ceremonial ribbon cutting were Michael F. Ambrose, president/CEO of USAlliance FCU, and John McCue, senior vice president of sales/marketing of ISO. MemberSource Credit Union, Houston, Texas, has tapped design/build firm KDA Holdings to break ground on a new 27,640 square-foot facility. Construction will be completed in early June 2004. Lansing Automakers Federal Credit Union, Mich., has broken ground on a new retail branch and headquarters building. Design/build firm KDA Holdings has been tapped to handle the $11.5 million, 57,439 square-foot project. Construction should be completed by summer 2004. Insight Financial Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., has opened a new branch in Oviedo. The new facility is located in an Albertson’s shopping plaza for member convenience. Vermont State Employees Credit Union, Montpelier, has opened the doors of its new Berlin branch. Design/build firm DEI, Inc., helped celebrate the grand opening of the new 6,000 square-foot branch. Carter Federal Credit Union, Magnolia, Ark., has broken ground on its latest branch. The Mayor Lane Jean, Magnolia Chamber of Commerce Diplomats, and local business representatives attended the ceremony. All attendees received a garden shovel to commemorate the event as well as an opportunity to win a $500 Banana Republic shopping spree. San Francisco Police Credit Union, Calif., has hosted a grand opening celebration of its new San Mateo branch. Members from local law enforcement, Fire and EMT agencies attended the event. The San Mateo Police Department was also on hand to fingerprint the children who attended. Digital Federal Credit Union, Marlborough, Mass., has announced plans for construction of a new 125,000 square-foot operations center and a stand-alone branch near its Marlborough headquarters. DCU’s target completion is fourth quarter 2003 for the branch and spring 2004 completion for the operations center. DCU will own both facilities. DCU’s 83,000 square-foot office building at 220 Donald Lynch Boulevard will remain its headquarters facility.
