PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Credit Union continues to add technology services to market to other credit unions, this time creating a new division of Wescom Resources Group called WRG Software. WRG Software will offer online solutions such as e-statements, member-directed ACH, real-time membership applications with fraud protection and automated lending with instant decisioning. “Our mission is to offer innovative solutions that will enable credit unions of all sizes to offer their members the best of online services,” said Steve Ewers, vice president of information technology for $2.3 billion Wescom and president of WRG Software. Also joining the new division are John Best, who had been vice president of e-business at $1.3 billion GTE FCU in Tampa, Fla., as director of technology, and Ryan Huff, formerly of $4 billion Orange County Teachers FCU, as manager of installations and application development. Wescom Resources Group also offers ATM deposit balancing, item processing, check imaging, service bureau, disaster recovery and other services to the credit union industry.
