Despite hectic schedules and packed days, credit union CEOs do occasionally take the time to enjoy themselves at the movies. Tastes range from family fun features to musicals and comic books come to life. Here’s just a sample of what they are watching: Recent three films- Terminator 3, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Italian Job Favorite film- Forest Gump because it is a great story and well done movie! “I wish they made more movies that are not based on computer graphics and where the whole movie is basically special effects. Movies have been an important part of my weekends for a long time. My wife and I keep up with the latest, pick the movie of the week and find the time to go see it,” said Ponteri. Raymond J. They aren’t classics but this is the variety I enjoy,” said Rosek. Mike Rosek Port CU President/CEO Recent three films- Chicago, Two Weeks Notice, My Big Fat Greek Wedding Favorite Film- Rocky. “Not only is he an Italian boxer but the movie shows that anyone can accomplish anything,” said Bartone. David Bartone Corning CU CEO Recent three films- My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Lord of the Rings – The Two Towers and Chicago Favorite Film- Witness for the Prosecution (1957) “It is a black and white film made in the late 1950′s with Tyrone Power, Marlena Dietrich, Charles Lawton. They all portrayed great characters and it has exceptional drama and mystery. I’ve seen it at least 10 times,” said Raker. Bill Raker U.S. Federal CU President/CEO Recent three films- Sinbad, The Hulk and Finding Nemo Favorite Film- Star Wars (the original) “Star Wars was an obvious choice because of the special effects and innovation for the time period. It’s also a very compelling story that I never get tired of watching,” said Tobin. Larry Tobin FAIRWINDS CU President/CEO Recent three films- Matrix Reloaded, Finding Nemo and Chicago Favorite Film- It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. “I really enjoy comedies,” said Bruen.
