Alabama Telco Credit Union, Hoover, has named Valerie Y. Painter public relations/research coordinator. In addition, after 15 years of dedicated service to the credit union movement, Alabama Telco CU Assistant Vice President of Membership Development Minnie Lou Hill Easterwood has announced her retirement. Louisiana Credit Union League, Baton Rouge, has elected the following officers to its board: Glen Beard, chairman; Charles Kramer, 1st vice-chairman; Virgil Allen, 2nd vice-chairman; Anna Grado, treasurer; and Bobby Major, Jr., secretary. In addition the following directors have been elected: Rodney Beard, Ray Chavanne, Tom Conner, Larry Hansen, Edna Hickman, Charles Johnson, Sig Gary; Ginger Manint, Patricia Morris, Vicki O’Brien, Sidney Parfait, Ron Sevin, Norman Thompson, Richard Turnley, and Julius Wagoner. Insight Financial Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., President/CEO Lynn W. Owen III has been elected chairman for the Seminole County-Lake Mary Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Insight Financial CU has named George Davis vice president of lending and Karyn Randall business development executive. Insight Financial CU has also promoted Lisa McCoy to Maitland branch manager.
