Paragon Federal Credit Union, Township of Washington, N.J., has donated $50,000 to Bergen Community College. In appreciation of the pledge the college will name the lobby of its new Technology Education Center after the credit union. The two-story sky-lit lobby features a grand central staircase to a mezzanine and the second floor. Kent Credit Union, Ohio, has collected over 500 toys for children at Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron. Items donated include stuffed animals, storybooks, activity books, and coloring books and crayons. Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron, founded in 1890, is one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the country.
