WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Don’t look for IBM to be included in the name of too many of those credit unions that serve IBM employees these days. Of the total of 19 credit unions that serve IBM employees only three have kept the IBM in their names. Name change reasons run the gamut from the sponsor company requesting it so as not to confuse consumers, to credit unions converting to a community charter and looking to include more SEGs. Here is a look at most of the IBM Employee Credit Unions that have rode the name change wave:
