CALABASAS, Calif. – Digital Insight needs to raise $100,000 by December, and it’s turning to its employees and lot of other folks for help. That’s the goal the e-finance enabler set for itself to raise for the American Cancer Society, the company’s corporate philanthropy beneficiary this year. Events will include a golf tournament, ACS “Relay for Life” community team walks in California and Georgia and even a company cookbook and bake sale. “We selected the American Cancer Society because of the work they are doing in cancer awareness and education. We also wanted to support a charity with a national presence so our offices in different parts of the country could participate,” said John Dorman, chairman, president and CEO of Digital Insight. DI will be a “Presenting Sponsor” for Relay for Life events in Calabasas on Aug. 23, Newbury Park and Rocklin on Sept. 13 and in Walton County, Ga., on Sept. 26. The public golf tournament will be held July 28 at Woodland Hills Country Club. Register online at http://www.digitalinsight.com/golf.
