HALES CORNER, Wis. – The $2 billion Corporate Central CU has added a business development manager for its Minnesota operations. Mary Krogram is the corporate's new point person in Minnesota. Prior to joining the corporate, she worked for eight years for the Financial Services division of the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank. Late last year Corporate Central, which primarily serves Wisconsin CUs, said it would begin actively marketing to Minnesota CUs and it has even opened an office in the state. Minnesota of course is home to Minnesota Corporate FCU, which is in the merger process with Mid-States Corporate FCU. Corporate Central said so far it is seeing a positive response from Minnesota CUs. "We've always had members there, and we're adding a few more members. We're giving them (Minnesota CUs) a choice," said Mark Schroeder, president/CEO of Wisconsin Corporate Central CU. Schroeder would not say how many Minnesota CUs are members of Corporate Central, noting the corporate keeps that information private and is in no way looking to get into a member-adding duel with another corporate.
