BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Goldleaf Technologies Inc., a provider of ACH and Web site solutions to credit unions and community and regional financial institutions, announced that West Virginia Corporate Credit Union has purchased its ACH Web Client product, a browser-based, ACH transaction management solution. The credit union chose ACH Web Client because, "we were specifically looking for a cost-effective, easy to use Web delivery system to replace the proprietary dial up system we have been using for several years," said Charles Thomas, WVCCU's president and CEO. "Many of our credit union members do not have a direct connection with the Federal Reserve Bank, which is the ACH operator in this area, so we accept the receiver files for them," said Thomas. He explained that ACH Web Client allows WVCCU to break down the bulk data files received from the Federal Reserve Bank into individual credit union files and distribute them to respective member credit unions. Thomas hopes that the ease of use of the Goldleaf product will encourage credit unions to offer direct deposit of payroll and other ACH applications to their business relationship accounts.
