Weyerhaeuser Employees' Credit Union, Longview, Wash., Vice President of Lending Michelle Klemetsrudhas recently celebrated 30 years of service. To mark this milestone, staffers dedicated a daylong celebration in Klemetsrudhas' honor at WECU's main branch. Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, Albany celebrates its golden anniversary this year. For the past 50 years the credit union has managed to increase its assets to over $326 million and serve more than 43,000 members. Mobiloil Federal Credit Union, Beaumont, Texas, has hit the 30,000th member milestone. An elated family residing in Vidor, Texas was presented with a certificate signed by Chris McDonald, CEO/president and Richard Hegel, board chairman, as well as gifts of appreciation and three hundred dollars in cash to represent one cent for every member totaling 30,000. Whatcom Educational Credit Union, Bellingham, Wash., President/CEO Wayne Langei has recently celebrated his 30th year at the helm. His vision and dedication to service has helped WECU grow from just $1.6 million in assets to over $304 million in assets. Credit Union of New Jersey, Ewing, has celebrated its 60th Anniversary. To mark the occasion CUNJ held an anniversary party complete with free food, giveaways, entertainment and financial education.
