PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Credit Union’s annual Speaker Series kicked off with Minnesota Public Radio’s “Sound Money” co-host and Business Week Contributing Economics Editor Chris Farrell. Farrell discussed the outlook for the economy and inflation, as well as long-term returns to be expected in the stock and bond markets. Wescom CU’s relationship with radio station KPCC started three years ago when it began underwriting various programs. Last year that expanded into supporting the broadcast of “Sound Money.” Since then, KPCC personality David Brancaccio, host of the syndicated public radio program “Marketplace,” has been featured in Wescom CU’s ongoing financial education speaker series. Wescom CU provided free copies of Farrell’s book “Right on the Money: Taking Control of Your Personal Finances,” to the first 200 registrants.
