ORLANDO, Fla. – Speaking at the ULTRADATA users group meeting, Harland Financial Solutions Core Systems Group President Raju Shivdasani, said HFS will deliver more products in ASP mode and continue to open up the ULTRADATA system. "Two years ago when I got here, it was an issue but it shouldn't be anymore. You should be able to connect to any wrapper solution," said Shivdasani. He noted that while ULTRADATA users can connect with third party vendors, they should first take a look at the HFS suite of products. This suite has expanded due to two key acquisitions in the last year, Sparak and Interlinq. These acquisitions brought commercial services and mortgage origination to ULTRADATA clients. Shivdasani also touted the recent acquisition of Premier Systems Inc. as HFS getting serious about service bureau processing. He emphasized that HFS will honor its contracts with six service bureau resellers. With a "Chart Your Course" theme, there were 400 attendees at the conference, with approximately 50 Harland staff and a record 38 vendors packing the exhibit hall. There was also Harland Row, a row in the exhibit hall displaying many of the products from the Harland family.
