CLEARWATER, Fla. – Credit unions which contemplate making a significant change to their card programs, such as offering another card, increasing cardholder activity or marketing more cards will be able to make the changes online and see what the likely impact would be, according to Card Services For Credit Unions. CSCU is the association of credit unions which process their card transactions through the Georgia based Certegy. The new module is anticipated to be officially available on June 30. CSCU members will be able to log on to the association’s Virtual Card Consultant and use the Consultant’s newest module that is dedicated to allowing CSCU members to simulate different changes and measure their likely card impacts. The simulation module allows the user to simulate both changes to the overall card portfolio as well as changes made to one individual card program, the association said. “This is a tremendously powerful program for our credit unions,” said Sue Chrzan, communications specialist for the association, “but of course for credit unions to take full advantage of the program they have to use it.”
