Burd Elected Chair of CUNA Mutual Group and CUNA Mutual Life Insurance Company

MADISON, Wis. -Centra Credit Union President/CEO Loretta Burd has been elected chairperson of CUNA Mutual Group and CUNA Mutual Life Insurance Company The two organizations held their concurrent annual meetings on June 5. Burd succeeds James L. Bryan, CEO of Texans Credit Union, Richardson, Texas. “I’m following an outstanding chairman and will work like he did to ensure CUNA Mutual’s continued onward success at serving credit unions,” Burd said. In other appointments, Brian McDonnell, President/CEO of Navy FCU, was elected vice chairman of CUNA Mutual Life and Neil A. Springer (former CUNA Mutual Chairman) of Springer and Associates was elected to a three-year term on the CUNA Mutual Life Board.
