PHILADELPHIA – Hopefully TIVOs or VCRs were set earlier this week to record the nationwide spotlight on American Heritage Federal Credit Union's dedication to service. NFL Hall-of-Famer-turned Fox TV commentator Terry Bradshaw singled out the $360 million credit union as his "Pick of the Week." Bradshaw described his mission to be "finding stories that reflect the grit and determination required to succeed in extraordinary times" and the show highlights corporate success stories from around the nation. "It's a question of value," said Bradshaw about American Heritage FCU. "The fact that the credit union does so much good for the community does have an influence on where members do their business. They have fully embraced the notion of a financial institution with such a dynamic, exciting community outreach." The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and two-time Superbowl MVP's segment produced by Broadcast News Channel airs Monday mornings nationally on the MSNBC cable news network. According to Broadcast News Channel Executive Producer Dan Usry the credit union was the clear front-runner for the recognition. "They have been repeatedly recognized by their peers for their commitment to putting people first," said Usry. "We couldn't ignore that."
