Well-deserved Accolade for Melchionda

I was so pleased to read Paul Gentile’s article in the April 30th marking the 25-year milestone of EasCorp (“Melchionda Hit the road With Determination and Savvy to Sell CUs on the Corporate Concept”). Paul shared a story of one of our credit union leaders and highlighted the tenacity and talent of that leader. Jane Melchionda has been one of my heros for a long time. She represents what a person can achieve when they know they can not fail. Her accomplishments and her generosity to so many shows the true spirit of what the credit union movement is based on and continues to be today. Jane has led the way in innovation and takes on what others only dream of. Her example of new products and services have helped credit unions offer greater services to their members. Jane’s involvement with the Children’s hospital continues to inspire so many of us to go beyond what we think is possible. Thank you for highlighting her accomplishments and leadership in your recent article. I’m sure this article will inspire all that read it and make us ask ourselves what more can we do to contribute, to give back, to innovate and to be the best we can be. Holly E.
