ARLINGTON, Va.-NAFCU President and CEO Fred Becker is taking to the virtual highway to drum up enthusiasm and attendance for the organization’s 36th Annual Conference in Boston. NAFCU is taking advantage of modern technology and e-mailing credit unions a multimedia message from President and CEO Fred Becker encouraging credit union leaders to attend the conference. “Hi, I’m Fred Becker, President and CEO of NAFCU,” the mini movie says. “I want to invite you to join us for this year’s premier credit union event-NAFCU’s 36th Annual Conference & Exhibition, in Boston, Massachusetts. We’re `Building on Tradition’ – with outstanding speakers, cutting-edge technology, numerous educational sessions, and the world’s largest credit union exhibition. This year’s program also includes a PAC (political action committee) golf tournament, a clambake at the site of the USS Constitution, and a night at Fenway Park. Register now and I’ll see you in Boston, July 23rd through July 26th.”
