AKRON, Ohio – The safe return of Army Private First Class Jessica Lynch, who was rescued from an Iraqi hospital in Nasiriyah by U.S. special operations troops on April 1, hit closer to home for GenFed Federal Credit Union staffer Renee Gray than the rest of the country. Gray is Lynch's second cousin. When she heard about the successful rescue mission, Gray wore an American flag sweater to work, which was already decorated with yellow ribbons. Lynch is now recuperating from several injuries at a military hospital in Germany.
