The contest was designed to encourage members to take advantage of this free service that allows them to receive their statements online via email. Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union., Bremerton, Wash., has named Human Resources Specialist Robin Thompson Employee of the Quarter. Thompson was recognized for consistently demonstrating the credit union philosophy and serving as a role model for her coworkers. Pennsylvania Credit Union League, Harrisburg, has named Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union CEO Greg Smith the 2003 William W. Pratt Lifetime Achievement Award for Professional of the Year and Shenango Valley Teachers Federal Credit Union Retired Chairman Angelo Piccirilli the 2003 Joseph A. Moore Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer of the Year. Both awards recognize the commitment, leadership and dedication of both individuals. Central Florida Educators’ Federal Credit Union, Orlando, has recognized the outstanding performance, teamwork and service of several employees. CFEFCU has named Dave Wysokowski Manager of the Fourth Quarter 2002 and Dawn Frey, Lisa Gomes and Amanda Pickup Employees of the Month. North Island Financial Credit Union, Chula Vista, Calif., has been awarded the 2003 Peter Barron Stark & Associates Award for Workplace Excellence. It is the third time the credit union has been recognized for its commitment to employee satisfaction in the past three years. The award is based solely on employee feedback. Riverside County’s Credit Union, Riverside, Calif., has been named a finalist in the “Top Companies to Work For” awards program sponsored by The Business Press. RCCU was named a runner-up along with Southwest Airlines, in the category of 100 to 999 employees. RCCU was recognized for its high performance work environment as well as ways the organization helps employees advance their careers.
