MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.-In light of the possible war with Iraq, the airline-sponsored credit unions’ annual conference has been cancelled. The decision to cancel the conference was made last month because of the growing threat of war and the potential for cancellations out of fear of flying in a war time, particularly on a trans-Atlantic flight, according to US Airways Federal Credit Union President and CEO Joe Cirelli. The conference, to be hosted by British Airways, was scheduled to take place in London April 28-May 1.
