BURLINGTON CITY, N.J. -New Jersey Gateway Federal Credit Union Board Director Melvin Warren is getting acquainted with Thunderbird. After investing $40 for six raffle tickets in the Credit Union Legislative Action Council Sweepstakes, Warren is driving away a winner in his new black Ford Thunderbird Convertible, which is worth an estimated $38,000. "When I first got the call saying I won I didn't even know what a T-Bird looked like. I had to go to a local dealership," said Warren. "I really didn't think I would win. I just wanted to support political action. Now I'm definitely going to support CULAC again next year." Over 9,800 entries were received by CULAC with almost 400 tickets sold in New Jersey alone. Nationwide, CULAC raised more than $71,000 through the T-Bird contest.
