CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga.-Navy Federal Credit Union was honored as the “Best Financial Institution” for the seventh year running by the community of Camden County, Georgia. In addition, Teller Sabrina Cruz at Navy Federal’s St. Marys Member Service Center was crowned “Best Teller” of 2002. The contest is sponsored by the Tribune & Georgian, a local paper, which asks readers to vote on any of the 102 named categories. Tribune & Georgian Marketing Director Mike Henry said Navy Federal is one of the few businesses to be voted “Best of” in their category since the paper initiated the contest in 1996. “A record number of readers voted this year,” Henry commented. “Navy Federal always seems to tally the most votes for a category because of their quality member service and community involvement with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life walk and Angel Tree program at Christmas.” Navy Federal’s Kings Bay and St. Marys MSCs serves more than 18,000 members throughout the Camden County region.
