FAIRFAX, Va. – Core processor FedComp Inc. says its Window-based The Next Generation system has now been purchased by more than 500 credit unions and installed at more than 300, and it is announcing the return of industry veteran Carolyn Warden as its director of education. Reaching the 500-sales mark firms FedComp's claim as the top-selling Windows-based in-house system, the 18-year-old company said. Warden, meanwhile, will be assuming a new position at the company and will be in charge of user education among other responsibilities, FedComp said. Warden has authored resource books for credit unions on a variety of topics. She also has been an NCUA examiner, CEO and CFO at credit unions and has worked at CUNA Mutual Group and the Credit Union Affiliates of N.J., as well as for FedComp in product development and sales. "We're glad to have her back. Carolyn knows so much about so many areas of credit union operations and implementing technology. We've wanted her back for years, we just never had the right fit before," said Bob Duff, FedComp co-founder and board chairman.
