ORLANDO, Fla. – Worldwide Interactive Services is offering what it calls a complete multi-lingual Internet banking service for credit unions, choosing Spanish as the language for the first release. "As the needs of the credit union industry change, so to should the companies that provide their services," said company President John Pantaleon. "Too many companies rely on machine transcriptions for their language offerings. This translating software all too often provides inaccurate translations and poor grammar. By employing individuals fluent in multiple languages, we have built a platform that is truly a multi-lingual offering," he said. Worldwide Interactive Services is an application service provider to more than 300 credit unions, with products that include voice, Internet and wireless media. Worldwide has previously provided audio translations for multiple language options and plans to add additional languages to its Internet banking service soon, the company said.
