CALABASAS, Calif. – Digital Insight announced the launch of its AXIS Lender Platform. The company says the new platform “offers the ease of an ASP solution with the control and customization of an in-house lending solution, while reducing decision execution time to about 30 seconds from receipt of the completed application and credit information.” The decision engine mirrors an institution’s credit policies by providing a sophisticated decision tree along with risk-based and rate-adjusted pricing, according to Digital Insight.. The AXIS Lender platform uses J2EE architecture, and is designed to interface with an institution’s core processing system and loan origination system, Digital Insight says. Real-time credit bureau reporting also is supported. “The intelligent decision engine in the AXIS Lender Platform allows us to generate consistent decisions based on our specific lending policies, which ensures fast response times for our members and reliable quality in our loan portfolio,” said John Hood, senior lending executive for New England Federal Credit Union. Also included in the AXIS Lender Platform is a user-friendly management console, which allows financial institutions to customize such things as logos and legal disclosures and define and set-up loan products, as well as manage various loan acquisition channels. “This new lender platform is the first step Digital Insight is taking to offer a best of breed, full functional loan origination system,” said Bob Surridge, DI’s senior vice president for lending. “By leveraging the power of an ASP, we are bringing the new architectural platform to the next generation, fully Web-enabled lending origination solution.”
