MADISON, Wis. – CUNA’s Center for Professional Development has added three new eSchool offerings: Credit Union Finance for Non-Financials – April 15-May 1; Marketing Management School – August 5-21; and Residential Mortgage Lending School – September 2-18. eSchools feature live, real-time instruction from industry experts via the Internet and a telephone conference call, plus Web-based discussion groups, case studies and additional readings. Each eSchool session lasts approximately two hours and includes lectures, group discussions and live chats. In addition, students should expect to spend three to nine hours on Web-based activities for each scheduled class session. Study hours are not fixed to give students the flexibility to choose the best time each week to complete activities. Also new for 2003, CUNA introduces mix and match eSchool classes. For a fee of $279 per class, participants can take just the classes that interest them. Complete schedules and individual class agendas can be found online. For more information, call (800) 356-9655, ext. 4864. Complete information and registration forms are also available online at www.cuna.org/training.html.
