Star One Credit Union, Austin, Texas has celebrated its 20th year of serving members throughout Texas. To celebrate the anniversary members were treated to food and refreshments. Star One CU has assets of over $2.3 billion and is ranked 15th in total assets among credit unions nationwide. South Division Credit Union, Evergreen Park, Ill., President/CEO Geraldine M. Burek has celebrated 20 years of service as a credit union executive. Through her efforts membership has grown to over 9,000 families and $50 million in assets. In addition, Burek has taken a special interest in encouraging financial literacy of younger people.
