ATLANTA – Harland Financial Solutions clients using the company’s Pro Suite loan products now can use the Internet transaction portal services of Ellie Mae Inc. California-based Ellie Mae is a leading Internet enabler and loan-origination software provider. The agreement announced Wednesday enables HFS clients to use Ellie Mae’s ePASS (electronic Processing and Submission System). “The online connection between Pro Suite and ePASS makes it easier to immediately access the products and services (including credit reports and title and appraisal services) that are integral to the loan origination process,” HFS said in its announcement. Scott Cooley, Ellie Mae’s chief strategy officer, said: “With several million transactions flowing through ePASS this year, we believe it’s become the standard transaction platform for the loan origination marketplace. The big winners are the Pro Suite customers as they take a great origination system and combine it with a great transaction system.”
